"Grown Up" Hot Chocolate Recipes Made Healthier

In the mood for something warm and chocolatey tonight? Here are two delicious adult beverage recipes using our Chocolate Greens. You read that right, Greens! If you’re 21 or over, try one of these recipes as a healthier alternative to your favorite spiked hot cocoa.

Bailey’s Irish Cream Chocolate Silk Greens Cocoa

Ingredients:

  • 1 shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 2 cups of coconut milk
  • 1 scoop of Barlean's Chocolate Silk Greens

Instructions:

Pour coconut milk into a pan on the stove and scoop in the Chocolate Silk Greens. Warm on low-to medium and stir until powdered greens are fully dissolved. Pour into a mug and top with a shot of baileys. Stir and enjoy.

Peppermint Hot Cocoa with Chocolate Silk Greens

Ingredients:

  • 1 shot of Peppermint Schnapps
  • 2 cups of coconut milk (or any dairy or non-dairy alternative, but we think coconut milk tastes best)
  • 1 scoop of Barlean's Chocolate Silk Greens

Instructions:

Pour coconut milk into a pan on the stove and scoop in the Chocolate Silk Greens. Warm on low-to medium and stir until powdered greens are fully dissolved. Pour into a mug and top with a shot of peppermint schnapps. Stir and enjoy.
