How do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? Today we decided to blend up 3 smoothies to match the colors of the Irish flag. If you’re having guests over tonight, whip up these smoothies and surprise everyone with three tasty, color-coordinated beverages! Or surprise your kiddos with a St. Patrick's Day after-school snack. 1 c almond milk, ½ c cucumber, 1 c frozen pineapple, 1 c baby kale, ½ c spinach, 1 Tbsp Barlean’s Flax Oil, 1 Tbsp honey, 1 Tbsp Barlean’s Flax-Chia-Coconut, 1 squirt of lime. Blend together and enjoy.
Coconut Cream Smoothie:
1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1 c coconut cream, 1 c coconut milk, 1/2 frozen banana, 1/2 c frozen pineapple, 2 Tbsp Pina-Colada Omega Swirl Fish Oil, 1 c ice. Garnish with mint leaves for an extra touch of green. (If you want a cooler, thicker smoothie, simply add more ice). Blend together and enjoy.
Tropical Orange Smoothie:
1 c almond milk, ½ c yogurt, 1 c frozen mangos, 4 slices fresh pineapple, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 2 c ice, 1 large tsp CoQ10 Omega Swirl. Blend together and enjoy.
