How do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? Today we decided to blend up 3 smoothies to match the colors of the Irish flag. If you’re having guests over tonight, whip up these smoothies and surprise everyone with three tasty, color-coordinated beverages! Or surprise your kiddos with a St.Patrick's Day after-school snack. 1 cup of almond milk, ½ cup of cucumber, 1 cup of frozen pineapple, 1 cup baby kale, ½ cup of spinach, 1 Tbsp. Barlean’s Flax Oil, 1 Tbsp honey, 1 Tbsp Barlean’s Flax-Chia-Coconut, 1 squirt of lime. Blend together and enjoy.
Coconut Cream Smoothie:
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, 1 cup of coconut cream, 1 cup of coconut milk, 1/2 frozen banana, 1/2 cup of frozen pineapple, 2 Tbsp of Pina-Colada Omega Swirl Fish Oil, 1 cup of ice. Garnish with mint leave for an extra touch of green. (If you want a cooler, thicker smoothie, simply add more ice). Blend together and enjoy.
Tropical Orange Smoothie:
1 cup of almond milk. ½ cup of yogurt. 1 cup of frozen mangos. 4 slices of fresh pineapple. 1/2 tsp of turmeric. 2 cups of ice. 1 large teaspoon of CoQ10 Omega Swirl. Blend together and enjoy.
